Working day to day in this job you can come across some rather nice exotic and classic cars but as the pictures will show this is definately a first for me!! Andy the proud driver of this massive Scania regularly attends shows and events in his highly polished and immaculate lorry, so you can imagine the frustration when he managed to catch his door and put a dent in it. Knowing that I could remove the dent without a problem, I had to set about getting near it! After some head scratching I ended up perched on a pallet of drinks working away.

This large soft dent was removed from the front wing of a Honda Jazz that belonged to a lovely old lady who was absolutely mortified about the damage on her year old pride and joy. The dent on this virtually new Vauxhall Zafira may only be small but the problem lies in trying to restore the panel back to it’s orginal condition without cracking the paintwork.
When a dent such as this is on a “Swage line” you need to be very skilled to restore the line back into the panel – but in this case not only is it on a “Swage Line”, it’s also in a area where you are limited with the amount of flex you have to work with in the metal .
