Dent Removal on a Morgan Sports Car. As you can see from the pictures above Dent Removal Technician Gareth Truby from Leicester removing a dent from the rear arch of a Morgan sports car.
The owner of this car was out enjoying a drive in his pride & joy when unfortunately he had a stone flick from the tyre of his front wheel that hit the rear arch, causing a very noticable dent & as the panel is made from aluminum it dented quite sharp causing the metal to stretch.

As you can see by the pictures here is Paul working on the ‘Gobstopper’ a car owned & Raced by Roger Clark Motorsport, this car is the current Championship winner of this years time attack at the hands of Olly Clark son of the late, great British Rally Driver – Roger Clark.
Olly managed to hit a thew cones whilst clipping the curbs resulting in the car suffering a thew Dents throughout the season.
Dents of this nature can be small but sharp as Olly is normally travelling at around 150MPH making the impact of a cone quite harsh. As a result of this these type dents are tricky to remove, which was’nt a problem for Paul.

This became more apparent when a cusomer came to us with the dent you see on the car above!
The poor chap had only owned the car 2 days, he had saved up & bought himself an Alfa Romeo 147 in bright red and it arrived just days before his freind’s wedding so he was over the moon he could show off his new pride & joy.
When they arrived a the reception he decided to park his brand new car well out the way of everyone else to prevent it from possibility of being damaged. But what he did’nt realise was he had parked it near to a ‘cooking apple tree’!
During the night the weather had taken a turn for the worse & strong winds came in, dislodging a large & heavy apple from the top of the tree, throwing straight on to his brand new car, as you can imagine the owner has very upset! much to his friends amusement.
That morning he call Dent Technique, managed to get hold of one of our paintless dent removal techs whom arranged a meeting with customer, arranged an appointment for the next day, the customer left the car with us, we removed his dent without using any paint or fillers & restored it back to it’s orginal condition.

Not another accident in one of the ‘Dent Mobiles’ , this time it was’nt our fault, Nathan(dent removal tech in Leicester) had borrowed Paul’s van for the day whilst his was in for a routine service and on his way back to our office to hand it back to Paul an Artic lorry went all down the offside with his trailer and pushed Nathan into the grass verge!
This is the kind of work that’s beyond our skills eg. every panel had to be replaced & a new front wishbone fitted to make it right.
