The pictures are of a XKR Jaguar rear quarter very low down where the panel joins the bumper. The only way to gain access to the dent was to remove the massive 20″ wheel , there was a small hole to work through.

Paintless dent removal (PDR) covering Rugby and Warwickshire. If the paint is not broken and access can be gained to push out the dent from behind the panel then the following pictures show clearly what can be achieved using PDR techniques. The vehicle is a VW T4 Van n/s front wing where it meets the bumper. Access to the dent was gained by removing the indicator lense.

The pictures shown are front wing of a 2000 Ford Fiesta. The dent occured whilst parked in a car park. The owner of the Fiesta is a repeat customer, having removed dents on his other cars in the past.

Take a look at the photos , note the reflection in the garage door to clearly see the distortion on the panel.

Dent Technique attending French Car Show FCS 2010

Dent Technique is proud to be attending the French Car show FCS 2010 at Rockingham Motor Speedway on Sunday June 13th 2010. This is the first time we have attended the show and by the looks of previous years photos and feed back from certain customers it looks like a quality day out will be had by all.

We will be displaying one of our Peugeot 206 vans on the stand as well as various information about our services and also a trained technician close to hand to answer any questions. In addition we will be also carrying out repairs to vehicles on the day either by appointment and on a first come first served basis. The picture shows the crumpled front wing of a Nissan Micra which the owner had damaged reversing through the entry to their drive. The wing only required some minor paintwork touch ups to the very edge of the wing but the owner was grateful that a new wing was not required.

I was called by a guy in Whitnash, Leamington Spa asking was it possible to remove a dent from Motorbike petrol tank. Take a look at the pictures………….

Dents occur on bike tanks typically when the helmet is dropped on them or the handlebars hit the tank, not always possible to do but worth a call.

The dent shown is a N/S front wing on a VW Passat. The owner had no idea how it occured , he did not need to worry because this type of dent is not a problem to remove using Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) techniques.

As you can see from the pictures the VW Polo had some odd looking dents on the boot when I turned up and this was caused by a common problem people have and thats the wheelie bin. Even though they are only plastic they always win if they come together with a cars metal panel.

Instead of having the boot filled and painted the customer was very please to still have the cars original paintwork in place and also not to have a large repair bill and hassle associated with having a panel sprayed.
